Conference on the 1909 Regional Exhibition - European Green Capital 2024 - València

As part of València European Green Capital 2024, the city hosted a conference reflecting on the 1909 Regional Exhibition, an event that marked a turning point in Valencia’s urban transformation. Organized by ESdiario at the Valencia Territorial College of Architects, the event brought together experts in urban planning, heritage, and sustainability to analyze the impact of this historic exhibition and explore the potential of a future International Exhibition as a catalyst for sustainable urban development.

The event featured prominent speakers, including Antonio García, Director General of València European Green Capital; Francisco Pérez Puche, Official Chronicler of Valencia; José María Lozano, Professor at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV); and María José Viñals, expert in heritage and environmental sciences, among others.
