Connecta Museums aims to optimize the offered services to the users to make the experience of visiting or interacting with each museum perfect. A technological infrastructure will be implemented to allow better control of the facilities, conservation of collections, equipment maintenance, and centralized management.
Control of the facilities for the efficient use of resources will be achieved through the installation of monitoring and control systems for the air conditioning, lighting and ventilation of the buildings, network analyzers, energy meters, touch panels, etc…
In addition, a dynamic content visualization system will be implemented (geolocated and with the possibility of augmented reality) and guided indoors through a single mobile application for all museums, based on proximity technologies (iBeacon and Geofencing).

The existing Ticketing Platform (PVE) for the management of municipal museums will be complemented, in a non-exhaustive way, with the following functionalities:
- Knowing the occupation of the museum.
- Registration for workshops and activities.
- Management of members/subscribers or friends of museums.
- Management of complaints and suggestions.
- Registration of number, origin and flow of visitors.
