Presentation of Global Omnium's New Book - European Green Capital 2024 - València

Within the framework of València European Green Capital 2024, the presentation of the new book by Global Omniumon CO₂ emissions and climate resilience strategies took place. The event brought together experts in sustainability, institutional representatives, and leaders in environmental innovation to address current and future challenges related to climate change and the efficient management of water resources.
 

The session began with a speech by Antonio García Celda, Director General of València European Green Capital 2024, who emphasized the need for a resilient recovery to face today’s environmental challenges. Subsequently, Elvira Carles, Director of the Private Foundation for Business and Climate, presented the report, highlighting the increase in emissions in the Valencian Community and the urgent need for stronger measures to mitigate global warming.
 

During the event, València’s commitment to active policies for decarbonization, energy efficiency, and climate change adaptation was underscored. The publication by Global Omnium offers a practical and detailed roadmap for reducing CO₂ emissions, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the city’s environmental targets.
